My 2010 2LT/RS had 21,000 miles. I got $21k for the trade in, and I owed about $14,800 on it. So I was able to add the difference to my down payment. All in all, you loose the depreciation on the V6, but ultimately, you end up with the car you want. Personally, with an extra $5k down, I only ended up paying $500/month. I was paying $424 for the 2LT/RS.

wow thats awesome!!! and another thing is if i found a synergy green ss then i could do all the appearance mods i was going to do to my v6 and leave the engine alone just add an exhaust

V6's are cool. Those that think otherwise don't no what they're talking about. It's a Camaro!! Do with it as you will, but most importantly; love it.

Dude...I love my V6....love it. I've never owned a car before that I've loved and enjoyed so much....

...but if I had the money I would trade up for an SS in a heartbeat. Wouldn't even give it a second thought.

That's my advice.

The hell with what others think...as I've said before I love my V6...but I'd respect myself more if I had an SS!

I have Headers and electric exhaust cutouts, and Flowmaster AT exhaust on mine and its pretty damn mean sounding. I love all Camaros but I still would not trade mine for any other one.

it sounds good? i wanna hear. i know a v6 can sound like a v8 when it is idle and at low rpms but the higher you go rpm wise the more the v6 sound shows

Heres a video of mine with cutouts open. I didn't have my headers installed yet, but you will get the picture.

The Camaro you already own is fast, good looking, and handles well. Mod it. Drive it. Enjoy it.

I'd definitely take a SS Vert if someone were to give it to me, but I'll hold on to my V6 for the rest of my life probably. It's the 2010 version of the 1986 Camaro I had when I was 18 (in 1998).

I wish I knew how you guys make so much money to be able to stash away 30k+ in such a short time. I have a bachelors degree! I thought that meant something in the marketplace lol

I financed $38k for 72 months at 4.9%. The previous loan I had on the 2LT/RS was for $18k for 60 months at 6.7%. The interest rates are much better now then when I bought my first Camaro, so the cost per month was not much different.

People always say that it costs you more in the long run, which is true.... But I focus my finances a month at a time. It was an affordable move for me, so I did it, and I am loving it. Simple as that.

EDIT- correction.... Financed $32k
