that was rhetorical.... cus the example I listed was my own personal experience. messing around at the local car club meet, went and punched the gas, the car chirped... then the pedal went dead. and the laughing began.

For the LT1 Camaro, is the SS model better than the Z28?
Because, if I can recall correctly, when it comes to the LS1 Camaro, the only difference between the Z28 and SS is the hood...provided that what I read is correct. EDIT: Wait...did they even have an LT1 SS Camaro? |

the LT1 intake snaked back around and had the filter above the intake manifold and the scoop directed air right there. the LS1 had an intake at the front of the engine bay on top of the radiator and the scoop on the hood directed air back towards the front to the intake. SSZ28's came from the factory with a little bit more power than the regular Z28. but with a few mods, you can easily add more power

no, I was meaning that if your exhaust was loud, you wouldnt hear much of a difference in the intake noise/volume.
