They are limited in the amount of money they can make from that car... they will sell the parts, or very similar parts eventually... or lose money.

As much as I hate to say this, that is what I bought a Firehawk for, but SLP in the long run sold the farm to whomever wanted it. Not to say this will happen to the ZL but after next year don't expect to be exclusive.

1) Its cheaper for me too do it, parts and installation
2) It has things i dont like and i would like it to MY taste.
3) My husband doesnt trust me with that kinda horse power
4) Aqua Blue metallic... enough said.

You don't have to spend a 100k to buy the car the same splitter,spoiler, and hood are on the ZL560 and ZL585 for around 60k.

I would not be very happy if I started seeing my parts all over the place. I would never buy from slp again. That being said I love my car.

SLP has always bee a little bit overprotective when it comes to their parts. I had a 2000 SS and my family wanted to buy me an actual SS car cover as a gift and SLP had to have my permission and my VIN # to sell it to them. Kinda cool, nuts and annoying all at the same time.

I'm sorry, but I don't have 60K to throw around just to drive a car... if you want people to buy the car for the SLP parts that they will eventually sell to make money, buy it for them. They will sell the parts eventually, and you'll be out of your "exclusive" club. Stop complaining about it, you're going to lose out eventually anyway because SLP will want the money!! It's always all about the $$!!! (By the way, I talked to a dealer here in VA last Saturday and the rims are available.)

It seems that the only one complaining is you because you can't purchase the parts that we the people with ZL cars have and were willing to pay for. Your statement of "buy it for them" is just childish. Get over it. I wanted the car so I made it work just have to work a little harder and sacrifice a little to have it. Good luck with your wheel purchase. I think your dealer is talking out his a**.
