All I can imagine is that the air is being sucked in from below and forward of the filter and then being sucked over the top.
Go back and read the thread and stop being lazy. it's all been documented here. And there are alot of pretty pictures also. The original design didn't have the hood seal this was just added. The new seal acts like a heat shield from the compartments heat. Just like many others out there have also like Roto's intakes.

Why would/should I buy this product? What type of additional performance can be expected? Have any tests been done?

You may be working on a great product but your customer relation is pathetic. Idiots.
lol they have not posted at all on here. Maybe instead of holding your hand... they were in the back refining their product.

It simply amazes me how little some folks know.

Ummm...Wrong.
Steve posted here a quite a few times before the fest. I believe he even posted a few after, when he said the reason for the delay was more power. He may have even posted a few back and forth with you when the talk was about the meet the Houston club had coming up.

Then it went silent for a few weeks. Just glad to see they've been working things out. Kind of wondering if the delay was because the maf was heat soaking and they were working a way out. Looks like a better idea than relocating the iat sensor and having to cut the harness.

Unlike yourself, I don't like guys holding my hand.
You've only come in here to blast people who question the lack of updates. Stick with your cosmetics. It's obviously what you know best.

No I came here reading about what Ronslo has been doing.

Your lack of knowlege of business is just a side show.

As for hand holding, I was referring to the child-like postings of some. No idea what your reference to cosmetics is in relation to but not suprising seeing your other post.

Your cosmetics is all your "mods", and your business sense and contract knowledge I have already addressed here. The fact that you and Rolnslo are in the same "club" and Vararam happens to be located where you are also located seems to be a factor in you deciding to constantly defend the questionable(at best) marketing of this product. Rolnslo started the thread, Steve at Vararam has posted updates in the thread as well as the group buy. So keep on hugging your buds and defending them against anyone that might ask what happened. You even tried to jump on the vendor who came here and explained the situation he was in, so give it a rest and be happy we may be coming to an end with this already.

Maybe Ronslo can answer this for me. I've looked at the most recent photos that have been posted and I'm wondering how air is getting to the intake? Is there some sort of scoop or venting that goes down in front of the rad which allows for air up over the that area and into-thru the filter? It appears to be a nice seal preventing hot air from the engine compartment from entering into the filter area with that seal and the closure of the hood. Just wondering how all that 'Ram' air is getting where it needs to be.... Is there a portion of the unit that sits down in front of the rad and if so, I didn't see evidence of that from the pics, even the initial pics.

Really hoping this thread will come to some sort of conclusion by this weeks end.

In the first post, look for the pic that shows the bowtie. You can see the duct.

Just so im clear, you believe its proper business ethics to promise a vendor and hundreds of potential buyers a ship date. Then on atleast two occasions (three may be more like it)that I can recall, change the date and not come through. Then go completely silent without any updates on a forum that they accepted a group buy on, knowing people were anxiously waiting.

If that's your idea of good business practice, I just don't understand you. But then again, I don't need to. Its a free country. Think how you wish. But for me, its terrible.

And for the record, Steve @ Varam has most certainly posted on this thread. But has gone silent since the delays.
Can you believe the lack of knowledge of some people, lol.
