Please excuse my ignorance / stupidity, but I'm wondering how it gets air in. It looks as if it's sealed off from the rest of the engine compartment around the back and sides due to its own gasket and sealed off from the incoming air at the front due to the OEM bonnet gasket/buffer.

Or is it pulling in air from beneath the filter and forcing it up over and into the filter?

Looks good. I'll see how you guys like it and especially if its got more pull and torque then the Injen. I may have to convert! Oh no, not another intake!

It's still pulling it from the top in front of the radiator.

And I now see the tube.

too bad it didn't come from VR themselves. That's sloppy business.

I am interested in the intake though....

You can extend the hoses and put it on the drive side where the Pos terminal for the battery is at. That's where I'm putting mine now. There is a lil bracket where the OEM air box use to be.

I just have trouble wrapping my eyes / mind around that. It looks almost like it will be very very close to the hood and that the gasket in the front and around the sides and rear would prevent any air from coming in at the top where the filter is. All I can imagine is that the air is being sucked in from below and forward of the filter and then being sucked over the top.

Watching this thread from the onset, the fact that no shipments have been made still is now only laughable. VR, this is no way to run a rail road. Great job with your PR. You should be atleast on this thread regularly to maintain some sort of contact with your consumers. But, I guess you got rolnslo to do your work for you. You may be working on a great product but your customer relation is pathetic. Idiots.
