It`s a V6 thing..........they would not understand.
I have beat quite a few V8`s and believe me they were left scratching there heads....but that is not the reason I bought the V6. I have a few other V8`s in my stable to beat up on other V8`s.

Wow. where to start.....? I love my V6 Camaro. It has some decent snap out on the pavement. I also don't understand why people get all bent out of shape when they get asked if it is a V8. I have that happen to me all the time. As a matter of fact if I had to create a thread every time someone asked me if it was a V8 I would be on here about ever 8 hours. Seriously the V6 looks awesome and can hold it's own but if you are having envy issues then I suggest you take the hit and get the SS. Or you can do as I have and found a 76 Camaro that I am getting ready to drop 550 HP into. If that still doesn't help your envy, it sounds like you may have other issues and I'm sure someone here can direct you to the nearest shrink to take care of your "little" issues.

Personally I dont agree with the v6 mustangs....camaros....or any other "muscle" type cars......But I wouldnt hate on anyone about it (not to their face anyway
).....Its still a great looking car, and by no means slow. I get crap all the time for having an Auto...and I have a 500 RWHP car....Their will always be someone out their to say something negative. |

Quite the original thread starter there OP. Get used to it man, it's been this way for years. I remember we used to call the 3rd gen Camaro with a V6 a waste of a Camaro body, same thing with the Mustang and that little sissy 2.3 that the base LX came with. I don't refer to the newer cars (5th Gens) as such because they have more power and options than their predecessors. Just enjoy your new cars guys, some people worry about where their next meal will come from, not about some silly remark being made about the size engine they have in their new car.....

well on the other hand... this past weekend.. was stopped somewhere in a town in the ga mountains and a guy comes up and says nice camaro! is it fast? (its fast enough for me with a 6...) oh whatever man... these sixes these days push a lot of power.. (enough for me!) can i take a few pictures for my scrapbook? i have a few cars myself... (oh please go ahead...) and conversation keeps going..
who gives a hoot, i like my car, and i'm not racing... and its good for me... if u don't like my car... ur problem...
