+1. I enjoy hanging out, and cruising with Camaros regardless of the engine. This past week we rolled 30 deep and heads were turning and cameras were coming out.

I have a v6 and have had only one person ask why I didn't get an SS. Plus everyone I take for a ride can't believe the power the v6 makes. I will also say that a LS or LT Camaro is a great base to build a sleeper. A turbo or supercharger will push that engine well over 450 HP. I don't street race, it costs you money in tickets and can end up killing someone. It's just not worth it. I have a 1969 El Camino that gets 8-10 mpg with 420HP, when gas hits $5 I will still be able to afford to drive my Camaro. Cruising around town in a good looking car is the important thing.

You got slow cars, it's not an insult, it is just true. I'm glad your brand new car is faster than a 1900 v8. Awesome. Now stop complaining and bitching about every little details in your daily life and just drive your damn car.

Every freaking day there's a new thread about how "omg they don't respect my super 300hp v6" or "lol just smoke a modded gt with my stock v6" or "omg someone parked 5 meters away from me and I am really mad DEEP STARE" or "hey guys my exhaust tune v6 is gonna own a s197" etc etc etc etc etc x10000

It gets old fast. So quick, call your team of slow to come flame me for my comments because you get so butt hurt when someone tells your the truth that your car IS slow. 300hp in a 3800lbs car... Really not impressive. 400lbs in a 3800lbs (ss) not impressive either. So stop pretending we own underground tt lambos and are kings of the world.

I just laugh now at everyone that wants to challenge me (minus the ones I know can stomp me). There's no point at all to do it on the street! Someone who thinks you are racing but you aren't will go brag to their friends they beat you when you weren't doing anything! Take it to the track and have a time slip to prove it!

I'm not ashamed of my V6. Heck, I traded in a GTO to get my V6 Camaro. Sure, sometimes I miss the V8, but when I see my gas & insurance savings, I'm OK again.

True car enthusiasts enjoy the car for what it is - a 5th generation beauty! I know I do.

I rather have a nice car than a fast car any day. That's just my personal preference. Besides, there are a lot of people out there that can't even tell the difference between a V8 Camaro and the V6 Camaro.

LOL, why do you think people ask if it's a V8 or not? Because they don't know.

I personally have a little fun when someone asks me that question.

The car may be heavy, but 300+ HP out of our V6 is very impressive. Overall, it's a very modern, very technologically advanced engine. That is a feat in itself. We all don't need 800 HP in a daily driver.
