we probably wouldn't have any of these cars if they didn't. I give GM props for not settling, and putting such an advanced engine in the Camaro period. Camaro forced Mustang & Challenger to be better...thats a good thing for us all.

Just like you have reasons for not getting a vette and got the slower V8 with alot less muscle...awww hows that make you feel? Yes I hope karma punches me in the face too! Sounds fun! If you have a choice in picking the v8 or v6, why, why would you "choose" a v6.

Btw there is a couple reasons why I didn't choose a vette.
1) I couldn't afford it (at least I have the ball to admit it)
2) I have a wife and a couple kids. I'd like to be able to bring them with me sometimes. Vette I can't
3) I didn't buy the Camaro to have the fastest car. But I dud buy a v8 because it's like buying a full size truck with a v6....I just can't do it.
4) and if I did want to buy a vette, I wouldn't settle for a regular vette, I'd have to get at least a z06....see reason #1

And it's this attitude exactly that makes people bash and hate on the v6.

it is not attitude. It is ignorance.

Different strokes for diference folks. Some get the V6 Camaro as a dd or starbucks mobile because they have other muscle cars in the garage. Most are just faddish folks....saw the Camaro in the Transformers movies and they wanna be cool. Some just care about the looks of the car so the V6 fits the bill. Some wants the SS but can't afford it and are honest about why. THEN, there are those who feel they always have to justify why they bought the V6. Those are the annoying ones. Let's face it, LS or SS, it looks the part, just know what you have and be happy with it. If you are trying to fake the funk, that will make you over-sensitive and think you are always being attacked any time someone asks if you have a V6 or V8.. Just Be Happy.
