Several members attended and we had a Freaking Blast at Cincy Speed Spring Dyno Day!!!!!! Top Horsepower was a Cincy Speed tuned and procharged 2010 SS owned by Mike OBrien. he put down 681 rwhp to the rear tires (after spraying his oversized intercooler w/ Fire Extinguisher....HeHeHe!!!!) Second Place goes to a Whipple charged 2010 SS owned by JD Thompson at 657rwhp. Our own Club Member Sandman, put down 612rwhp from his Procharged 2010 SS. Club Member 10aSSeD put down 603rwhp in his 2010 Maggie charged SS and Finally little "Sinister" put down 470rwhp which is Not Bad for a naturally aspirated motor with a 4:10 gear!!!!

So Congrats to all you Guys!!!!!

Thanks for posting Dave. Great pic of "Sinister" setting beside your car waiting to Dyno. Glad you are enjoying your Cincy Speed Mods. Its really addicting.

We need to get ready for some type of Club meeting in the near future. However, it seems attendance has REALLY dropped :(

Please post if you are interested getting together sometime soon so we can get a head count. Thanks.

As Mr. Brownstone said we had a dang good time at Cincy Speed those guys are the bomb!!! I highly recommend these guys if any of you are wanting to gain some horsepower and who doesn't want to do that? They helped me go from 535hp and 535tq to 603hp and 556tq with their awesome tuning abilities! Everyone needs to post up so we can arrange a meet and get back on track. We need all you guys to post so we can grow as a club and have big meets so if you are ready to get out and hang out please post on here so we can get something going. Thanks guys and gals!

I'm all in for a meet. Will be out of state a couple weeks in early/mid June. Other than that, I will make every effort to attend!

I made 603 horsepower and got 22mpg on the way home that was including me and Darrell playing hitting over three digits on the straight aways and no traffic of course. I can live with that!!

Pony Wars - October 2011

A couple of months ago we held what was called Pony Wars. Mustangs, Challangers, Camaros and some other muscle cars all got together for a weekend of fun in Valdosta, GA.

We are planning another event this fall...... Check it out! http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142018

Here's a video we made to give you an idea what is in store for the fall event. Hope to see you guys there!

First is the Somernites Power Cruise from Knoxville to Somerset, KY. on Saturday July 23. Here's a link to the website:http://www.somernitescruise.com/july.html
I plan on driving up, going to show, have a good dinner, watch some of the cruising and drive back that evening. I know some people spent the night last year. It was "hot" last year, but over 900 cars attended and I think we had five or six Gen 5 Camaros from Knoxville.

Second is the Chip Foose/Year One Charity show at Year One in Braselton, GA. I attended last year under the $25 general show. This year I'm going under the $100 limited to 100 cars ticket. Here's the link to buy one of the these spots, only about 20 left:
http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/f...foose&SM=1&SC=

I plan on driving down Friday afternoon, or maybe Friday morning, taking the scenic route (fun to drive route) along US-129 out of Tellico through the mountains; having a good dinner Friday night; stay in Braselton Friday night; attend the show Saturday and drive back Saturday night (using interstates), after the burn out competition.

I would to have anyone join me for the cruises and shows. At present my son will be attending with me. My wife and daughter don't appear to be interested. Let me know if you plan to attend and we can coordinate the drives, dinners and hotel. Thanks, Bobby
Maybe we could get a cruise together to KY on June, 25th. This is Camaro and Firebird month. Check the link out for more info. We could meet in Oak Ridge for breakfast and travel up Hwy 27 to the cruise in. I had a great time last year, and I hope to go back this year. Cruising the town is a lot of fun.

Watching some Hot Rods race up and down Hwy 27 that evening is fun. It is 0 - 45 as fast as you can get there. Beating mustangs at the red light is even more fun. I hope we can get some cars to go. Any ideas?

The folks in Somerset are doing something a little different for the Somernites Cruise-Ins this year. They're now meeting on Friday night each month in the downtown area and they have some vendors, food and music for those who want to attend, and I heard they had over 300 cars for the last time. Then the main cruise-in takes place the next day on Saturday when they open the downtown area at 1:00pm and it goes on the rest of the day with well over a thousand cars. I'm going up for Friday, Saturday and Sunday this year and hope to see some of you guys there. That place is definitely more hot rodder friendly than the money grabbers in Pigeon Forge. I don't know if they're still available, but the Hampton Inn in Somerset had rooms for $86 per night if you call them direct and tell them you're with the cruise-in.
