Is this curb rash or paint peeling off?

I've been very careful, ive checked my rims everyday but after a carwash yesterday there was dirt left on the rim so my cousin and i were cleaning it with a cotton shirt. And this happened, i know its not curb rash i dont know what else it could be? oh ya btw theyre on the front tires drivers left and right passenger.

rub it with your finger. what kind of car wash are we talking? in the driveway by hand car wash or a brushless car wash or, heaven forbid, a car wash with swirling brushes and rollers and tracks?

It was a laser one, so it's all pressureized and I would never do a brush one, both in forsy pIc and second it's a layer of paint gone no actual sand grooves in there like curb rash should be. And it's only on the front?

Be serious, you took your Camaro through a car wash?

Looks like it has rubbed against something, I don't think it is a paint problem.

Not necessarily, did that laser wash have a pipe like wheel guide? If you just brushed up against it you could make a mark without scratching it

Most likely the car wash. Even the touchless ones often have some sort of rails somewhere in there to keep the car going straight. Plus, you saw it right after going through a car wash.

There is a lot of companies that do wheel refinishing. Should be able to refinish back to new.
