Bahahaha...sorry but thats just not true, friend.

First, a dealer will not even accept a car for their used lot if it has a bad Carfax - they can only auction it off.

Next, I'm just saying. If he has a fighting chance to total it, do so. It will take just as short a time with the paperwork to get paid and go get a new one as it will for them to bondo glue and staple your wrecked ride....assuming there is anything structural.

Looking at the photo, I can say the inner fenderwell will need replace, possible new front end suspension components, new bumper, door, etc, etc. I used to work in a body shop - its not as easy as a coat of paint and a good tug...

Thanks for the support guys and gals. I really want to keep the car, I freakin love it! But part of me doesn't even want it back....two accidents in 10 months of ownership sucks, and neither were my fault. I guess we'll see what happens...either it'll get fixed to the exact pre-accident condition, or I'll be getting something new.

People who frequently get into accidents, even if they are the other persons fault, are usually driving in a way that makes it harder to avoid them. I dont ever trust another car is going to do the right thing, or even keep doing what they appear to be doing right now. That way I tend to be ready to avoid them if they do something stupid.

I don't understand what you're trying to say. I was driving in my lane, at the speed limit, with very little traffic around. I was about 300 feet from the parking lot I had just pulled out of, and the lady thought it was a four-way stop and pulled out into me. Without being psychic, I'm not sure what I could've done to prevent it. Maybe if I would've looked to my left right as she pulled out I would've noticed it???? Hind sight is 20/20, so realistically, there's nothing I could've done.

I'm not a "frequent accident" driver, it just so happens that I was the victim in two incidents by two different idiots. Both accepted blame right away, received citations by the officers at the scene, and their insurance was held responsible.

So ya....not my driving habits, but the disregard of others.

Does not matter if she "assumed it was a 4 way stop", it is up to you to pay attention and be prepared to react if somebody pulls out in front of you. Seeing as this is your second accident, I'd suggest paying more attention. Not saying it is your fault by any means, but a low speed collision at an intersection is entirely avoidable in most circumstances.
