Does DRL ( non RS ) Mess with hids? how to fix it?

okay i have a problem that in the day time only 1 hid would turn on and such. and at night time they both turn on no problem or question. so my question is the DRL during the day time ( remember im NON RS and no fogs so my headlights are DRL) be messing with that? how can i fix that?

someone told me a relay would fix it? a hids relay? would that fix that?

someone told me to turn off DRL...how can i do that?!

Hi if you are having problems its your lights, If you look at the connecters going to the bulb you will see the connecter looks like its burnt, Is this right?

Is it your drivers side HID that comes on constantly, but your passenger side doesn't?

If you turn your headlights on fully, then back to auto during the day, both lights are on?

The DRL doesn't supply enough power to fully ignite the HIDS during start up, thus 1 is on, the other is off. I had the same problem, had to use a relay with a module that will cancel out the PWM signal to prevent the relay from chattering.

You either need to get a relay harness, or every time you start your car up during the day, turn the light knob all the way to the right, then back to the left (turn on full headlights, then back to auto).

The Daytime Running Light signal isn't strong enough to start up the HID ballasts some times. Its fine for running them once they are on though.
