Cost...yes....more expensive but I wouldn't base it on more vs less power. It will be so minimal you'll never know the difference.
Thanks, good info! I always thought off road pipes would give you more power than cats, less flow restriction. If Ted tested them and found little difference then I'll definately believe it!

Ahhhhh! Is there anyway to get long tube headers with or without cats and not throw codes out the ying yang WITHOUT a tune. I do not want to void my warranty but I want long tube power and sound! A simple yes or no will do. Thanks.

I can say I went to my local dealer this past week. I asked them what i could do to my car and not void the warranty. The guy behind the counter said " you cant even put a cold air intake on it" How ever If i brought it in and it did not have anything on it at that time it would be covered under warranty. TAKE YOUR STUFF BACK OFF.. ) I asked about a tune for it. He said, " what we do is if Chevrolet asks is take a snap shot of the car program and send it to them to be checked. " " then they call us like 2 hrs later and tell us if we can work on the car or not" SO, I kinda took it like this. If you go to a dealer with a tune on your car ,you are not getting any power train work done. Not sure?? but if you reflash it back to stock and took it in then they would be sending a snap shot of your stock file to be anilized.. They can proably tell if you flashed it back to stock??? I have HP tunners at the house and I have not pluged it into my baby yet....

Also, OBX headers will and do turn rusty brown looking after like a year.. had some on my grand prix..

This is correct. If you have an electrical issue, it's still covered unless you messed with that, but engine/tranny/driveshaft/axle/diff warranty is toast.

Competition is what it's all about. Whether it's "Made in the USA" or somewhere else, the beauty of all of this is that each one of us has the freedom to make our own choices. So, with that said, I've gathered alot of good information here on this forum. I'll probably be ready to make my LT purchase by the end of the month.

The metals out of China and the metals out of the USA are not of the same quality. Who knows which brands import metals or use metals out of the united states.

Hey jason I plan on getting a loudmouth exhaust with these headers. I know y'all don't have a 3 in x pipe for these headers. I was wondering if you know anyone who makes 3in xpipe that would work with this combo or would I have to get a muffler shop to fabricate me one. Thanks for your time.
