Just read about their heads in a magazine article. 46whp with their heads, with cams and CAI already on the car. Seems totally worthwhile.
here is one article..

Here is another...

I haven't seen anyone on this site with it that I can recall, probably because it costs so much $$$$$$. It's almost more economical to slap on a supercharger and call it a day.

Really? All the blowers I see are 7000+install. This is less than 4000. I realize the install will be 1200 or so, but that leaves room for gears as well. A 450whp car with gears would be fun, and pretty close to a 520whp blower car with factory gears I would think.
Just not a big fan of the extra heat the PD blowers make in the grand scheme of things. A pro-charger would be neat, but they are even more!!!

True, but they're using a pretty aggressive cam to get those numbers which means most of those gains are likely to come in the high-RPM range w/ little on the bottom end, not to mention the driveability might suffer. Sure, you can get gears (I did and highly recommend them), but when you add the cost of those & their install (unless the prices have finally dropped since I had mine done), you're getting close to the cost of a S/C. Granted, I'm probably going to stick w/ N/A power (heads & cam), but can get to 450+ rwhp for about $2K less, labor included and, depending on cam specs, will have more "useable" power across the RPM band. I could go w/ a more aggressive cam, like the Mast one, and get more peak HP, but how often will I be able to rev to 6K+ RPMs to use it? Rarely.

450rwhp? They are claiming 630 at the crank! In a L99 with the 18-20% drivetrain loss your looking at 515-505rwhp (with longtube headers, CAI and tune). That's 500+ RWHP that is ALOT more reliable than a blower car. Personally I LOVE the procharger but due to $ and the fact that these motors were not built for boost I'm building all motor and maybe a 100 shot. There are guys on here running 7+ psi that have had great luck but my luck is not so great so I'll play the safe route. As for drivability... With a good tune and in my case a 3200 stall converter with trans cooler it'll be just fine. As for usable power... With that kinda power from a sub 25 punch in an auto it'll just break lose anyway and on the highway/interstate downshift from say 65mph in either manual or auto will yield a 4500rpm start and wont take long to reach the 6k mark and keep you in the big power range. Other than that you'll be fine at the track... Lots of all motor + spray cars running hard with blower cars.

The 458whp was not exactly the stg3 kit, but similar parts.
That said, the average manual car shows a 15% loss, I'd expect the auto would show about 25hp more.
I really think the driveline loss should be expressed as a power number loss.
It should not change dramatically with bolt-ons.
If the car shows a loss of 65whp for example(manual car), then that number should be used for all subsequent tests on that drivetrain.
The % calculation is only good on the first test.
Generally, the autos show a further loss of 25whp, more on wild built autos I've seen.
Similar to how blower and turbo cars get false numbers on a dyno as the FI is not factored into the correction for density altitude.
A turbo car running even 7 lbs of boost cares a lot less about altitude than an n/a car,
never mind double digit boost numbers. It still gets the same correction factor though, spitting out a number that is higher.
I too would love a blower so that the car was properly equipped to run with GT500's,
But I'm not sure for the same reasons you mention.
N/a has always been my preference.
