I have always used the bowtie, but have recently noticed that the right side of it is coming unglued. It could be because of a combination of the hot weather lately, and the pressure from closing the trunk.

I use the bowtie. But now I notice that the top of the bowtie is getting fine lines, not scratches, but more on the line of swirl type marks.

leave the backseat down and access the trunk from inside the car, or have the trunk monkey close it.

I pull down the back seat and then get in the trunk and close it from the inside.

I wonder how the OP get into his camaro let alone closing the trunk since the door handles are painted too. You might scratch them. LOL
