Actually if you go with 35% then you'll be right at 25% after the factory tint.

its really at police discretion...if they feel its too dark...some state police have testing equipment....9 times outa 10 tho...u need to be doing something stupid to warrant the pullover...then ur subject to the tint test

I went 35% all around, technically illegal, but I've never had a problem. I don't have a front license plate either!
Haven't been pulled over though, and the inspection shop I go to Is pretty laid back.

A friend of mine in his buick got pulled over by a cop and without asking immediately stuck the meter right on the window. Scared the crap out of him, but since he was at 35% all around he was fine.

The cop told him "Actually son, it's 35.1."
