Here is an update...This thread will forwarded to all GM Canada employees and is being shared at the plant level. The OP may find its way into an upcoming newsletter at the plant. The idea of the "Wall of Fame" was well liked and is being sent to the Director of Public Affairs for approval...

That's fantastic. Thanks to all GM employees, and the Oshawa team for all their hard work to this point, and for making the best car on the planet. As Scott always says...Keep The Faith!!
I'll contribute my pic to the wall of fame.

I'll second...or third...actually I'm probably no. 50...(rolleyes)
Anyways -- thank you. All of you. So very much. I suspect many of you already know that your hands aren't just building "a car"....but much, much more. And we are truly honored to have folks much like yourselves responsible for that. KJS, this was a great idea. And it's good to see the message got passed along. |

To Future Owners
As a GM Oshawa employee i have to say "Thank You " for supporting GM and the new 2010 Chevy Camaro. I take the greatest pride on working on each and every 5thGen and i know i speak for everyone on the Flex Line that YOU our customers are the reason this car will be a success. You've all remained loyal over the years and stuck it out though the ups and downs waiting for this day to happen. It is an honour to be a part of this launch and its something i will never forget , something to tell my grandkids that i was part of the rebirth of a truly North American legend. Oshawa , Thank's You ! . Best Regards and enjoy your new 5thGens. Super60 ( Camaro Body Shop ) Last edited by super60; 03-11-2009 at 03:20 PM. |

Power up to the homies in Canuckistan! Great letter and great attitude from the GM crew! Its stuff like this that makes a car like the Camaro transcend from transportation to a lifestyle.
I can still remember the day I had my new Vette in the garage and my neighbors all came over and stood around the car in awe. Look forward to doing that again with a 5thgen convertible next year! PS: I love the idea of the "wall of pride" and like the grease pen messages idea even better. Its ok to have fun at work you know! |
