Looking at heading down at about 7pm.
Thoughts?
I think we are basically next door to you at the Banff Inn. Was wondering what all those roads were closed for. Not sure if/when we're heading out yet... but if we do, we know where to go :-)

Random large animal paired with another animal or object pub named place lol. That was a nice place, but i don't think that elk burger is sitting well with me anymore.

Was a great day with great people. Think my trip showed 721 km driven from Deerfoot Mall this morning back to home tonight.

Got home at 9:45 pm. Great time today everyone, I was very impressed with the turnout even though the weather was pretty poor. At least the rain stopped for pictures @ Rocky, Abraham Lake and Columbia Ice Field. I will post some pics in the other thread once they all upload!

Also, I got a final count of 9.3 L / 100km for the entire trip. what did everyone else get? V6

According to the computer I ended up 9.1 from deerfoot to home, blown v8,,,, but I didn't really get the foot into it,,, cause that would be a really different number in the other direction.

Great cruise everyone! Yes, it would have been better without the rain, but it was great to finally meet a lot of you.

I also am glad there was as good a turnout as there was despite the rain.

Can't wait to do it again. (I'm always up for a drive) LOL

Stay safe everyone!

After a convoy of anywhere from 15-35 cars (depending on the leg of the trip), it was just Meltdownaverted and us for the drive back from Jasper to Calgary today. My dad and I ended in Calgary and then Meltdown had to continue on to Brooks. And just to clarify, at no point in the trip did we break any rules of the road. I think the Mountie probably just accidentally hit the flashing roof lights switch when he was putting his coffee back into the cup holder .

Oh, and I don't even want to know what my gas mileage was on the way back. Most members of Greenpeace would probably have a heart attack if they saw it.
