2011 Camaro with Borla ATAK axelback installed
Just getting around to posting a video of my only install, a Borla ATAK axelback. It definitely sounds much much better than before.
I did the install myself after watching a video posted by another member. I borrowed a neighbors sawzall and cut off the old pipes. Maybe in the future I'll continue with the upgrades... you guys have some awesome cars out there and maybe I'll get around to installing some of the other goodies. |

nice, been looking at the atak, is yours the LS3 or L99

factory motor factory trans, Gpi ss4 cam stock heads ported and milled, full exhaust, circle d 5c 4000 triple disk, 3:91 rear end with posi mod, cai, bmr derlin rear diff bushins, bmr derlin cradle bushins, bmr trailing arms, toe rods with bushings, and bmr anti extreme sway bar. Weld rt-s 17x5 fronts and 17X10 rears on mickey thompson et street r's

LS3... does it sound much different on an L99? Curious if anyone has videos of this kinda install.

I ordered it from Marylandspeed dot com. They have a presence at camaro5... I got it for a little under $700.
If you get it, it does seem to be pretty loud without getting new headers or straight pipes. I think one of the other owners was saying he made his car too loud with the ATAK borla exhaust along with other engine mods. Its definitely an improvement over the old exhaust. I'll see if I can put a video of the old exhaust. Now, I'm kinda curious how the catback sounds instead of the axleback.
