i doubt 17s would even fit over the V6 brakes. the 20s are required for the Brembos on the SS

I think you'll find that you can squeeze a smaller rim over those Brembos. Not 17s but ... smaller than 20s. I was told that there is about an 1-1/2" between the outer edge of the caliper to the inside of the 20" rim. I would think 18s would go leaving you a 1/2" of clearance ... but I could be wrong. It will be sweet if 18s do fit because Mickey Thompson makes a 305-45-18 drag radial. LOL!

I know 18s fit on an SRT Challenger and it has the 14" Brembos.

but will it clear the calipers on the 14.4s in the rear?
i was personally inspecting the 18s on a new Z06 yesterday, and they barely had .5" left over the brakes with a 13" rotor.

Dunno Good question. I guess we'll find out soon as they are finally coming off the assembly line I think it may depend entirely on the rim. (not to mention, you can always shave a smidge off the caliper )

GM did not want us to make the wheels so we didn't. You can buy the 45th anniversary wheels directly from GM but they are not exactly the same.

Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it.

That's a shame those wheels polished or chrome would be super nice....I like the 45th...but adding the shine makes a lot of difference.
