How many members want a DIY on power passenger seat - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am going to update my car to have a power passenger seat and want to know if you want the same, i will do a DIY on it and will make the wiring harness needed to make it work, But you may need to take it to get the BCM programed for it to work with your Air bag.

That sounds pretty cool. Is it going to be like the driver's seat or have you decided?

Reason I ask is I traded a G35 for the Camaro and the passenger seat in that car was powered but it had the controls on the left side of the seat so the driver could manipulate from his/her side of the car. Possible?

I know my kiddos and wife would love to be able to raise the seat some for a better view while riding!

It will be what ever GM has now in the 2012 cars.

Ah gotcha. I didn't realize they were doing it now. Makes sense now.

At first I was thinking it may be something put together like the rear view cam originally.
