The sound will be hard to detect with aftermarket exhaust. The "butt dyno" is not sensitive enough to feel 15 or 20 HP, and the CAI is the best cold air intake you can buy. There is a reason they are always on back order!

Looks great, but I want to point out what looks like will happen that happened to mine.

Your PRV hose is very close to pulley, like mine was. After a few weeks I noticed that it had worn a hole in the bottom of the hose.

CAI? I ordered the Borla S Catback and I was looking into either the CAI or the ADM intake. I would go with the black CAI with W/ relocater and ADM scoop if I went with that one, or I would go with the ADM Race with W/ relocater. Between these 2 setups, and the $100 difference between the 2, why is this one the best hands down? The HP increase I saw was about 4 or so.

As for the sound difference, that does not sound promising due to I as well will have the exhaust installed before, lol.

I purchased the CAI, Inc CAI as well as just adding the Borla S Axle Back exhaust. Am just thrilled with both of my mods.

Glad t0 hear that/ I have the GMPP exhaust too and I was hoping the intake would improve the sound some more. (It's actually one of my selling points to my wife about getting one )

Aside from looking great and performing well it really comes down to engineering and materials. Here are a few things we do different:

-Ceramic coated intake tubes inside and out.
-Insulated Airbox
-Specially designed Air Filter with a smooth bore tube stop and velocity stack (watch this cool video to see what I am talking about: http://www.coldairinductions.com/air...ers-in-action/ )
- Clear view window for easy filter inspection, spring loaded 1/4 turn fasterners on lid
- All aluminum Air box TIG welded by hand
- Thermal Imaging tests
- Dyno Test with hood down for every system application we produce
- Flow Analysis and Filter Testing
- Lifetime Warranty
- Engineering, Engineering, Engineering!

It even works great with a big ole sucker on the end of it:

Bill, do you have the "re-designed" tube done for us blower guys? I modded mine to connect straight at the SC but might wanna buy a new one anyway...

I installed a Breather and then I could remove that hose and cap it off.

I used a couple of 90 deg emissions tube pieces at my local Kragen to re-route mine. You can just see it in the pic. It comes off at a 90deg angle, runs straight back to where it turns 90deg again and connects to the factory location.

Vengeance Racing in Cumming, Georgia modified my CAI, Inc to fit with the TVS 2300. They did a great job.
