Take your Camaro to a Car Show V6 Owners

Went to a All Chevy and Camaro show today. Great people Great time and good food. If you own a Camaro V6 and dont feel you belong just because its a V6. I am here to tell you your wrong not to. There are alot of nice people there. I took my LS V6 Synergy Green Camaro and got nice complements. Met Scott Settlemire FBOD Man, we talked about how the Synergy Green Camaro came about (REAL NICE GUY). Then to top it off I won a raffle. I won 50% off a set of Flowmaster mufflers. I mean how can it get any better. Scott even signed my shock tower that alone is great.

I wish there were more V6 owners that had CAI and exhaust. Unfortunatley there was only one guy. He had a CAI and flowmater exhaust, sounded nice. So next year I will take my car again with the new Mufflers and VARARAM CAI if they ever PM me back.

BTW, lots of kewl V8 SS owners nice cars. Lots of people from Camaro5 were there also. Loved the event and again had a great time.

Get out and meet people with Camaros or Chevy's. You wont be disappointed.

Very cool. I think alot of V6er's have some kind of feeling they are not good enough. And some like me don't give a crap. Its still a Camaro whether its a V6 or V8. And most people don't even know if its a V8 unless they ask me. Today I had someones son call my car the Silver Bumblebee. He said it was the coolest looking car he has ever seen and not once did the subject of how many cylinders came up

Yea, Just because some people that own V8's are trolls. This is not all only a very select few not all. If you own a V6 and take pride in it. Take it to a local show, you will find others to talk and learn from.

I agree. I have never seen more than two V6 at any given show i have been in. Even the all Chevy show with 400+ cars i only saw 1 V6. I don't care what model you have bring it on out. The more the merrier i say.

+1000 too, =Stephens=. Doesn't matter if it's a V6 or V8, all gen5s are Camaro bretheren and sisteren. Just like the old big block and small block days, each has its own advantages. My last '70s Chevy was a small block and I was amazed at what it could do vs. a stock big block.

Thank you, also some of the money you pay goes to charity. Its a win win.

If the Camaro 5 Fest is close meaning two or three states away. I think I may try to make it.

Anyway off my soap box.

Hey BmoreCam what flowmaster exhaust do you have on your car? As you probably read I won a raffle for 50% off Flowmaster Mufflers. So If you have a suggestion I am all ears.

To me, it's about the fellowship and the love of the car, not so much the particular car. I first thought the same thing, only because I hadn't done anything to my car except tint the windows and a CAI and it was a V6 but Spring of 2010 and I went to a show and got a Top 25 trophy. Fall of 2010 I got a Top 20 plague at the Fall Brawl. Now I've done some extensive mods and I go just to go. If I get recognized great, but if not, I'm there for the experience, see some nice whips and hang out with the guys.
We have a big show coming up this weekend at Hare Chevrolet and another the following Saturday at Penke and I'll be at both. I was even at the Army National Guard show this past July 4th weekend where there were 250 cars from all years ('37 Cord Best In Show) and there was even a Ford GT on hand. I mean a car with a price tag between $175K and $250K. I got nothing at this one but I got a lot of looks and compliments. I personally try to hit any show that I can if my schedule will permit and the weather is nice!

I am glad you went, & most of us true camaro lovers (car people) dont care if its a 3cyl or what, its something you drive, its something you love.

I dont think we got formally introduced lol, but I was standing next to your car when scott signed it lol
