The problem is tube will not be in aproper angle and when you forced in the air filter it bends it disrupting the flow

Yeah, I know. But we have to keep pushing for it till they have had enough of us, cave in and get it done!

Your PRV hose is very close to pulley, like mine was. After a few weeks I noticed that it had worn a hole in the bottom of the hose.
Thanks! I noticed that it was close after I cut the hose. I'll keep an eye on it. It is about a 1/2" from the pulley and seems pretty firm. However, during driving conditions that could change. I should of cut the hose a couple of inches longer.

I guess the best way to find out would be to have a poll and see how many people would actually be interested, I know there are lots of people that have the CAI intake and are having superchargers installed, I know many people are just modding the tubes for now but the problem is that air flow is being disrupted by the angle where the filter is fitted and is probably creating turbulence in the system, it could be possibly hurting more and making less hp than the stock air box.

Just installed my CAI from CAI INC and it made a huge difference in performance. My exhaust note changed as well, it is much deeper.

I saw quite a difference in performance after adding this intake to my Kooks exhaust system. I can tell now that my exhaust was being starved by my standard box assembly.

My car was burning out sideways after shifting into second gear. No children were harmed in testing

The design for the S/C application is finished!! We just got it on the Dyno Thursday and the numbers were very good!! (I will be posting a thread all about it this week) For the few people who already called and "pre-ordered" it they should be shipping out this week. We know the demand for it is high, we wanted to get it done sooner, but the fact is we are pouring a lot of time into our new manufacturing facility that we are trying to have completed to move in by September, and that project has obviously taken precedent over development. The good news is that it is FINALLY complete, will be added to the website for sale very soon, and will go into production by next week!! I hope this helps clear up a few questions, and as I said I will be posting a thread on this soon.

Thats awesome. If I ever manage to afford the whipple in a few years I won't have to hack up a perfectly nice intake to make it all work.

But I have to add:

Thats great!! I am thinking about possibly adding a S/C next year and would definitely want to keep my CAI Inc. intake system. I'll keep that update kit in mind for the future!!
