Exclamation Borla TOURING Catback..... thoughts? opinions?

Sup fellow camaro owners....

ok, ive come to the time when i need to start looking at changing my exhaust.

i want somthing a lil raspy, deep, but not offensive or somthing that will draw toooo much attention from the 5.O.

A few peeps i met with camaro's in my town have recomended the borla TOURING catback too me, as its easy to fit... not as loud as the ATAK or STINGER. It seems to be what im lookin for.

its amazing how just changing a cat back can make such a difference to the sound of the vehical.

I appreciate any advice / feedback / reviews.....

thanks ya'll!

With headers the Touring is a nice setup, without headers it is almost not noticeably different than the stock exhaust.

If your headers break the car it does.

Go with the Borla S-Type, or Type-S (whatever it's called) if you'd like some moderate growl without doing the other engine mods. Go with the ATAK if you want some real aggression.

I have the Borla Touring catback with long tubes and no cats. I also plan on doing a cam which will make the exhaust louder. IMO the exhaust sounds perfect, nice and deep, but nasty when you get on it.

If you don't plan on a cam or headers, then go with the S-Type. If you plan on headers/cam get the Touring.

I have the Borla Touring as well.

Judge for yourself.

Here it is with only the Cat-back and a CAI:

Here it is with CAI, Shorties, Midpipes, and the Cat-back:

I have the Touring with long tubes and cats. Sounds awesome. Quiet enough to get down the street at 530am, and plenty loud when getting on it. But as said already, there is a pretty big difference with headers. If you're not gonna get them (that's what I thought at first, didn't last long) then the S type or Attack will give you better volume.

I just saw that you have the Automatic........ any modification to that exhaust is going to amplify the god awfull sound that the AFM makes when in 4 cyl mode. My Touring axle back (before I tuned off AFM) would vibrate the whole interior and make my ears bleed at certain rpm's.

Cannot go wrong with borla but honestly the atak is not as loud as I would like it to be!!! The touring is even quieter than the atak!~

Touring is not really worth it. Too quiet in any set up. We recommend the Stinger for cars with headers, and Atak for cars with factory cats and manifolds.
