We used a heatgun and took both lights apart in like 45 minutes! I'll post pics up as soon as I get my lights installed. Everything went smooth as can be, and I'm happy I'm DONE!
I use an oven all day long, only way I'll do them and I've done dozens of lights

Any special temp? Time? Ours kept cooling down very fast. Then it would harden again. I could do them all day with a heat gun, with NO problems. But hey whatever works.

Here's a new preview, just finished about 30 minutes ago. I'll post up the details on switch and some better pics tomorrow! Also finally siliconed my Knightlight to the mailslot to match my new halos. Post better pics of that tomorrow as well.

Here's a quick vid, the light bar looks broken up because of the clamps holding it in place. I'm gonna let it cure tonight and hopefully it won't pop off. Anyways heres the vid. Lets see if I get the coding right.

Same here. Use the oven with no prob and that's numerous installs. Sometimes have to throw one back in for a few mins again but overall, no issues.

That looks awesome man, nicely done. Are those dual color halos? If they are, let me know what you did for a switch, been trying to figure out a way to have an LED indicator for when the switch is on without spending a bunch of money on AAC's fancy push-button switches.

I'm usually not a fan of dual colors but that red halo is badass. Well done!

why dont someone just sell the whole assembly with the halos already installed. "oven and prying" is a little ridiculious.

They do sell them complete, it's just cheaper to do it yourself.
