Is this a good price?

Found a Used 2011 Chevrolet Camaro 1LT with 7k miles on it asking $24,000, its an automatic, Yellow with black stripes. Is that a good deal, if not what is a fair price? this is from a car dealer

did you check kelly blue book online? That's usually a good starting point.

ask for the car fax, see if it was a rental. might make a difference to you. if it's not a rental and it is clean then I think it is a decent price, maybe even good. IMO of course

29K seems a little high for a 1LT unless it is an RS

I checked the carfax, it didn't say it was a rental. 29k seemed high to me too, I don't know where they get the prices from.

I believe the 1LT's are around $27-29k. I paid less then that for mine. Girl knows how to talk those salesmen down, lol That price seems high for 7k miles. I just broke 3k on mine and I've had it since March so 7k is a lot of miles in a short time! I would be concerned of someone doggin' her out. I would keep looking.

I'll give you some advice from when I got my car... if you get the 1LT....get one with the RS pkg.
You'll regret it if you don't.

it would be very hard to buy a used camaro when you could by one new for very little more. most people paid a pretty premium to get their camaro the first model year, so when they traded it a year later the dealer probably had to give more then they really wanted to to get the deal done...all this ends up having a used car very close to a new one... I would pass on it...but thats me...

Y is that? I didn't like the RS package and actually didn't want it. The RS package is a personal choice.

I had the LS last September but the financing fell through a week after I brought it home so im sure RS or not i'd be happy.. I was looking around my area and thats the best deal on an LT that i found, the others were all $25k+ with more miles. I wanna wait for the 2012s but I could only afford the LS

IMO I wouldn't pay over 25 for it, with trade in I financed mine for 19K. I know it was under 24 if I remember right and that was with 3409 on it. 29 even with rs would still be a rip off. I'd wait a couple weeks and if it doesn't move go and tell them the kelly blue book value and ask them if they really want to sell it? or are they going to let is set for a while! if they have to really sell it for that price then they must be real idiots.

Because I'd like to have the 20 inch rims, a gauge cluster, some leather...but one of the main reasons is I absolutely hate the cloth accent trim pieces on the inside....and HALOS

Some may say buy some of that separately and just put it in...but then its still not an RS.

Oh well... I still love the car.
