Mass airflow sensors
I'm putting in a cold air intake in my 2011 ss2 and a buddy recomended once i do that to put a mass airflow sensor on it. Do these actually work and are they worth the money? Here is a few I found http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/201...ow_sensor.html

i would stay away from that.
you have no ideal how that sensor will correlate with the oe maf tables. if anything youll need a full remap of the maf tables to get that sensor to work correctly. |

To the OP: Perhaps your friend was referring to checking to make sure you don't have the "weak" MAF sensor from GM. There are two variants of the OEM MAF and one can cause some issues, especially on modified vehicles. |
