Never heard of using lighter weight pulley? Less rotating mass like using a lighter flywheel.

OK, learned something new today. I knew lots of pounds in rotating mass could make a difference. Had no idea a few extra ounces on a small pulley could even be measurable.

The stock pulley is a heavy. If you where to change it out for lighter material like aluminum, you can lose a lot more than a few ounces.

I Don't know
. I guess that's why I was asking Texas Speed. Maybe a better question to ask them is what material is it made out of? I know I would rather spend my money on a aircraft grade aluminum pulley than a cast steel one.

Are the pulleys on the back side of the Whip the same size...ie 1:1 drive ratio? If not, over or underdriven?

I haven't put the 10% overdrive on a scale to see how much the weight changed. Putting TSP Blower camshaft in today.
