WTH? Those vids are great but how the hell did you have that much room to put the intake in?
Mine will not for the life of me have that much room to slide in with the top tray on
Still love my VR though

Did you shorten the overall length or something? I cannot believe the flush fit on the TB and the ease of installation of a complete assembled unit. Mine fit with the bottom 1/8 an open angle at the intake horn TB area. I was never able to get it to fit flush- and it is bearing down on the radiator tank with enough force to wear through the heat mat and started to wear enough that its producing powder from contact with the ribbed areas of the radiator tank. Whats the magic trick here?

This was a stock unit taken off the shelf and out of the box 5 minutes earlier!!! Rolnslo's car is a manual and that may account for an extra 1/2 inch or so. Call our tech at 713-899-6456 or call me Monday at 866-507-2648 and let's see if we can help you!

I will do that. I still would like this to work as opposed to returning it. I also have a manual however :( but not one with very forgiving clearances I guess. I am really on the fence here. Hmmn.....

Auto here which might explain my gap issues and the unit not going in unless I take it apart first. :(

Received the replacement lower today with the shorten horn or whatever you want to call it. since the horn is shorter, its not sitting as high on the radiator and now sitting right on the brackets. I'll need to trim the brackets down a lil more to make them look like GTO's. Drove about 10 miles and it didin't move at all.

Thank you Steve. Once i modify the brackets and drive a little bit more to make sure this one is good to go, i'll send the other lower back to you guys.

Auto here as well, no way i can put it on completely together. I had a hell of a time getting the top piece on. But it seems there isn't as much play in this one as the first one I had though.

On test fit horn mated fine. Then when I slipped the orange seal around my throttle body I could not see if it fit perfect. I touched it and moved it seems fine. My self and my friend both checked. Not sure if I have a small gap as it seems to fit. Maybe its the way I cut the brackets. I hope it all works out for you guys.

You too ha, has the car scared the living sh t out of you yet. Mine did on my second drive at 5K rpm the car just roared like it was possesed... Scared me, I pulled into a car wash to look at my install thinking something let go. Nope it was well connected, just the sound was crazy. I liked it but man, my car was freaking mean... lol.

Well after normal driving and to work and idling. I got to drive home my friend . I was able to let in run WOT a couple times to the speedlimit and wow. I can feel some difference starting at about 2200 rpm and then increasing as I get closer to redline makes me want to steal my friends :X

I received mine Thursday, installed it in about 45 minutes after work. No fitment issues, and all parts accounted for. My car is a manual.

Like many others have said, the instructions could be (a lot) better. The grainy, black-and-white pictures make it difficult to figure out what's going on for people who have never touched something under a hood before (me). The video by ronslo made it cake. I'd almost say save money on manual printing and email everyone a copy of the video.

Checked it again today and it hasn't budged. Still letting the comp adjust before I really play with it but 1st to 2nd squeals like a pig.

The only concern I have is if the rubber trim creates a good seal?
