No one learn the lesson from East and West Germany re-uniting? The only one that makes out better is the lesser of the 2 partners; the other one gets stuck with the tab.

Well, we're not exactly in the same circumstances those two were in, now are we... Unless I missed the memo about the US, MEX and CAN having been split up following a nasty war with some other type of Red SS badges.

My First impression of the US - Canada experience:

I had a contract at UBC (I think thats what the school is), crossing the border from the US to Canada on I-5, Had a load of test equipment:

Leaving the US: 20 to 30, (no exageration) border patrol guys, none of whom new how to do the paperwork... (3 hours)

entering canada, one dood, straightened out all of our paperwork in 15 minutes and we were through...
