well just got an update on my ride from womack

looks like the P008 code : mean they have to replace the timing chain.
so thats what womack is going to do.

so i wont get my ride back til sometime next week....this suxs!!!!
they have to order the parts which will be here on thursday
and they have to pull the motor to get to the timing chain.
( two weeks without my ride ... really suxs )

for being my first chevy i am sure having alot of problems
i have never had this problem with all my mustangs that i had.
i might have to get the new 5.0

bummer bout your ride, well if you do get a mustang you a least wont have to pay for strips, you can always take them off the camaro

Damn Ernest that sucks. You need to have Dan hook you up with an LS3

If you do get a stang :( you can still come hang with the cool kids

Hey San Antonio! We're meeting at Biff Buzby's tonight. Get there as early as you can to stake our Camaro claim. For those that do show up early...do your best to save some spots. So far we have 8 confirmed and 8 maybes. Wow, wouldnt it be great if all 18 showed up? Come on out and catch up on mods.

update: getting my ride back tomorrow. damn two weeks without my ride was killing me.
they had to pull the motor and replace time chain. i didnt know that there are
three time chain. only one was bad but they replaced all three.

hope to see everyone this friday.
