cheapest way to have a nicer sounding v6 exhaust

I just recently got a 2011 camaro 1LS. I love the thing but the exhaust sounds much too weak for my liking.

I don't know too much about cars in general so my question is- what's the best bang for the buck that I can get? I don't want something that's just as loud as possible. I want it to have a nice sound. The MRT v2 sounds BEAUTIFUL to me but it looks a tad expensive. How much does it usually run to have these things install at a quality shop? Do they install them at dealerships?

Thanks!

I also have a 1LS 2011. And, my straight pipes sound amazing. I know some people get a lot of droning and crap but mine doesnt cause I had the mufflers removed and 3" pipe put in its place, and people compliment it everyday. Heres a vid of the same set up on a v6:

Ps. Only cost $70 and 2 hrs of my time to have the muffler store do it

Personally, I would save for the MRT V2.0.

MRT V2.0: What pay someone to install it? You measure I believe (please dont quote the length lol) 4 1/2 inches back from the original mufflers make the cut and from there it is a simple bolt in. If you don't have a sawzall you can rent one

I have a Borla axle back exhaust & CAI inc intake, price was under $1000 for both (I did have the exhaust installed which pushed it a bit over 1K but it would have been easy ebough to do on your own if so inclined). I love them & the sound of my Camaro now. Here are links to an exhaust video (listen with headphones) & pics. It is still quiet at cruise but sounds good at start-up & when you put your foot into it a bit (or even better at WOT). Apex Chase is good to work with & can answer any questions you have. He sure helped this newby. Feel free to PM me with questions too.

MRT 2.0 Do the install yourself. Not much to it. Unless you decide to have them welded in place like I did.

One man's drone is anther man's sonic paradise. Conversely one man's no drone is another man's worst case scenario. To the OP: Straight pipes/muffler deletes is prolly the way to go if ur trying to do it on the cheap. By that I'm assuming 300 bucks or less.

So true, MRT V1 does have drone. However, I personally don't think it's bad and I really like how mine sounds.
