I'm installing mine on Friday...what adjustment hole did you wind up going with? Top, 2nd, 3rd or bottom?

I started with the bottom hole and ended working my way up to the top adjustment hole. Shifts took less effort for me at the top hole. At the bottom hole, the throw was shorter but at the cost of the addition leverage you would have had adjusted at the top hole.

Did you have the shift notchy-ness with the stock shifter? Did this resolve that issue?

Notchy-ness can be helped with a fluid change.

Perhaps, but I've done a lot of reading on that issue can be any number of things from changing fluids, to changing entire shifter assembly, to a tranny rebuild or replacement due to syncronizers getting messed up due to bad syncro ring (sintered metal rings replaced with carbon fibre rings).

Not if you're changing it every few days. LOL

Just installed my LSR shifter, set on the second hole. This is my first mod performed on my 10' rs/ss. I am very pleased. Now I have to find some time to install their rear trailing arms. Trying to get all the stock power to the ground before I make any power improvements. Any ideas?

When I did my first mods for power (CAI, headers), I also installed the Hotchkis race pack to stiffen up the vehicle, and lower it to the ground. That helped big time.
I don't think anything more than that is necessary on stock power. After, that if you do CAM or SC you can start looking at control arms, diff bushings, sub-frame bushings, axles, et al. But, I wouldn't go there until your power levels are quite high.
