Yep those are the ones i got. The fuel is teed into the back of the passenger side rail and crossed over in the back to the drivers side as well. I got the two gates heater hoses from amazon and the red and black pieces are from showstopper, they just stick on with doublesided tape or velcro

Arg, I I didn't realize there was a secondary clamshell piece. I wonder if I can get it off without removing the rails again, what does it look like underneath?

It looks just like the top of the clamshell, same thing!!! Just another unnecessary piece that doesn't really need to be there. I'm not sure if you can get yours off without removing your aftermarket rails. I think you would at least need to remove a couple of the intake bolts and/or fuel rail bolts, it's only held on by a few. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if it is held on with any bolts?!?!? You might be able to just lift it off?!?!?

Ok, I'll take a look at it. In order to remove the back intake bolts you have to remove the entire intake out of the car, hopefully I won't have to do that again. I'll cut it off at that point if need be.

The insulated cover is just held down by the fuel rail bolts, four of them I believe.

Reason for TechAFX Instructions showing intake removal

Hey guys, saw your post on the TechAFX Hose Relo kit instructions--I helped them out on their instructions, so I can give some background on why they suggest you remove the intake from the engine bay.
The reason for pulling the intake in the first place is to allow the stock fuel rail to be rotated 180 degrees on the engine. One step required to do this is to remove a bracket located on the back/passenger side of the engine. To get the bracket out, you need to pull the intake bolt all the way out of the intake...but when the intake is installed on the engine, that passenger side intake bolt (the one closest to the firewall) can't be lifted out because it hits the cowl.
You can avoid completely removing the intake from the engine bay by loosening all the intake bolts and sliding the intake forward (in car position) a few inches until that bolt can be removed from the intake. Then you can remove the bracket, pull/rotate/reinstall the fuel rail and the put the bolts back in the fuel rail/intake holes.
When we were creating the instructions, we had a few people try that and found they were concerned with doing all that work on top of the open engine--which we understand.
That's why we showed you how to disconnect the fuel hoses/wires holding the intake in place so you could remove it completely from the engine.
Hope that helps.

I'm running without mine. I was thinking of painting it and doing some cutouts n mesh but meh. I like it without it... I don't like the look of plastic over the engine and it makes me feel like it's just trapping in heat. Even though it's probably not much of a diff.

Is it possible to cut the "clamshell" top off? Looks like with the insulation below it you could possibly roto-zip it around the crossing fuel line, and then unbolt the four bolts. I'll probably get around to taking this off on a rainy day...
