Just wait till an Adam's representative treats you like and underling, then challenges you to fight. No joke.

It doesn't take any longer to apply Zaino then it does any other wax or sealant. If it is taking you 12 hours to apply Zaino...your doing it wrong. I have both and pick Zaino over Adams because I get a better and longer lasting shine and water repeals off the Zaino for months not just one month like Adams.

my 2 cents.

My biggest problem with Zaino is that the philosophy behind the product seems to be more directed at "covering up and filling" swirls and other imperfections with their product. That may seem like a good idea, but you basically just keep adding more and more product to give the paint a good appearance. Further, the level of damage to your paint gets greater over time and requires more and more filling.

Most other polishes or compounds, on the other hand, are designed to reduce and eliminate the swirls or scratches from the surface. A proper paint correction, whatever the brand, can get you a flawless finish without so much as a drop of wax or sealant on the paint. That's because the paint is actually "fixed", not just leveled out with some stuff that tricks the eyes.

In order to be effective, polishes must remove the top layer of clearcoat, producing a smoother appearance. Over time this will dull your finish irreversibly. Overdo the polish, and you're hurting not fixing.

I don't deny Zaino has great customer service, and I will absolutely try their products in the future, but I am very happy so far with my experience with Adam.
I agree. Their products aren't all the best, but their customer service is usually pretty darn good.

Bet I know who that was. If you feel like sharing, PM me the story.

While this may be true eventually, for you to do this with a PC would take hundreds of polishings probably. It removes such a small layer of clear that it's simply not an issue. Besides, you really only have to get aggressive with it one time. After that with proper maintenance, the most you should have to do is break out the finest polish once or twice a year.

I've never tried Zaino, but I definitely respect the shine. If I were going to suggest anything for this thread it might be to go with Adam's to correct the paint and then use Zaino afterwards. One of these days I need to give it a try to test it out properly.

This is so totally false.

If you want to watch my videos in the order that they were posted, watch them in my area at Adam's Forums. That way you get all the information, not just bits and pieces.

I went to their website and from what I can tell their wax is a valuable collectors item----made in extremely limited quantities and smells like an ocean breeze--they sure got you guys fooled. Carnuba wax is Carnuba wax. Mothers or Mequiars is just fine and not sucker priced.

What wax are you talking about? And sorry, not all carnaubas are real carnauba. Lower end ones have lots of fillers.

You get what you pay for.

No disrespect, but I watched my dad polish the paint right off of his Crown Vic over a period of a year or so. Overdo the polish, and you're gonna screw your paint.

None taken. You're right, you can over do anything but using a PC-7424XP to correct paint is NOT going to do anything fast. Ask anyone who has fixed some really bad damage with the PC. It takes forever. It will not remove anything fast and short of beating the car with the polisher, you will be hard pressed to do any kind of damage with that machine. Maybe if you tried hard enough but you would really have to try HARD. I proved that in this video series.

The act of polishing paint does not create any type of dull finish when done correctly. The more aggressive polishes will dull the paint initially, but that is why you follow them with less aggressive polishes. This progression is what removes the damage and then creates the shine in your paint. This process works with every quality brand of product on the market, including Zaino. Their ZPC Fusion is a swirl and scratch remover.
