Sounds plausible. I'm 25, and pay $76/month for my Mustang 5.0 (full coverage) and Alero (comprehensive+liability, no collision) combined.

Make sure they're not cutting out Personal Injury Protection or MedPay (depending on your state) or Underinsured/Uninsured motorist injury.

Also, if you go $0 ded... not worth it. Just bank the $500 and keep in case of emergency. Then save $100 on your premiums every six months

Sorry, I work for claims for a major insurer... so I get to see people discover they don't have certain coverage on the day to day: "What do you MEAN I don't carry medical??"

Droptop, actually I think I told her to cut the medical for myself.

Being military, if I get in an accident, the military covers all medical expenses anyways, and what would the point of having under/uninsured motorist be?

Wouldn't comprehensive/collision take care of the same thing?

Not at all...

You ARE the cause of the wreck: Comprehensive covers your car/injuries, Liabilty covers the other driver's car/injuries.

You are NOT the cause of the wreck: Other driver's liability covers your car/injuries... oh shoot, it was an unisured motorist that hit you... UT OH!

I pay 210/month for my 2010 Camaro SS and my 2000 Impala. I have 100 deductibles across the board and very high coverage as well. It may go up next renewal because of some tickets and an accident. We'll see.

Welcome to old man insurance! My guess is the combination of job, age, driving record and of course.....your credit report.....are all kicking in your favor.
