before I bought the car for my Camaro and my 2000 Cavalier(work car) I was "quoted" 130/month... will find out for sure Monday, any more than that and I will cancel, another company quoted me today at $121/month, but for $9/month, I won't bother changing.... unless they give me "well, its actually going to be a little higher" line

both of those quotes are with $250 deductibles(well $250 collision, $100 comprehensive)

So, thats sounds about right. All 4 cars with full coverage are about the same per month if you break it down.
$550 Camaro
$260 Mustang
$280 Fusion
$200 Cobalt

A MONTH
Clean driving records, four drivers 4 cars and this is not including the house insurance
Full coverage

I think I was quoted something like $800 year but I'm getting the first year free under the GM free insurance for a year program they have with Metlife.

Sorry, I work for claims for a major insurer... so I get to see people discover they don't have certain coverage on the day to day: "What do you MEAN I don't carry medical??"
A thousand times this. I work the other side of the fence, in personal injury law. Sooooo many clients come in after a wreck and say "I have full coverage", when all they have is state minimum liability coverage.

I pay like 88 bucks a month..I'm 24..had one ticket on my record..I was driving a 2009 Hyundai accent..the cheapest new car sold in America...I was paying like 5 dollars less per month then I'm paying my camaro...what kind of logic is that? That Hyundai was like 12k dollars brand new and had 100 hp...so then I buy a 37k dollar car and it only goes up 5 bucks? Sounds like they were sticking it to me on the Hyundai

I was in the same boat. Before the camaro I had a 2004 Dodge stratus R/T through esurance which cost me 115 a month. When I got the camaro, they quoted me at 190. I'm paying 70 bucks a month with Gieco.

In my state of NC I have USAA and pay about $84.00 a month with a 500/deductable. No tickets or accidents. Ive had USAA for over 6 years and I would never switch to another company. They are awesome!

you aren't wrong, just not up-to-date. They expanded insurance availability to honorably discharged veterans as well, recently. But still shop around. They have some low rates, but sometimes you can find lower elsewhere.
