I can't do the Round Rock thing Saturday, but if you guys come to Cabelas in force, I'll damn sure try to make it over there... Sorry, not whining, but I am scheduled for surgery on my knee the 19th, and Cabelas is five minutes from my house... Would love to see 50 gen5's roll in... There were 19 Mustangs there this past Saturday...

The ball park just emailed me and stated that since we weren't actually purchasing tickets as a group buy anymore that they really couldn't cone off any parking. Needless to say, I'm pissed. I wrote him back an email stating I would talk to you guys and that the number of cars attending would most likely be considerably less since a lot of us are particular about parking and an event this size would draw a lot of attention, some of it not so nice.(i.e. dented doors, fingerprints, etc...) He says we should still not have a problem parking where we want as long as we get there early still like we were planning. My point is he told me one thing in the beginning and now is changing it. The way I see it we have 3 options here:
1. I lean on him and threaten to find another venue for us and see if he caves, if he doesn't we find another venue. (see option 3)

2.We get there early and take our own spots, no cones blocking it off or anything.

3.We scrap the baseball idea since it seems some of you aren't so keen on the idea anyways and find something else to do....like the big car meet at Cabella's on Saturday night, 50 5th gen Camaros rolling in there would grab some serious attention.

Let me know your thoughts....quickly!
Just keeping this on the last page.

It sounds like most of you don't really care to go to the baseball game anyways from what I'm hearing back. I'll let the responses keep rolling in today before I switch plans but it looks like we are headed to Cabela's. I say we park all 50 cars right around the mustangs.

the cables gathering happens a little later then what the baseball game started right?
if so should the times be readjusted since it is so hot. Not sure how much time everyone is wanting inbetween lunch and cables also need a diffident time as to those who are traveling long distance know when to leave...

Yep. I sent an email yesterday seeing if we have any leeway in the times since the Oasis is supplying us with a private room, just waiting to hear back.

As of right now I'm +0, but I'll know this weekend if I'm +2. Lookin forward to it!

READ THIS POST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright, from all of the opinions I got back we are scrapping the baseball idea. Seems no one really wanted to go to that anyways. I was able to speak with the Oasis and they will do one check per table, just bring cash. The time will be from 1-3:30.(They could not push back the time due to the number of spots we will be taking up) After 3:30 our cars have to be moved to another parking lot if we stay, we will be in the front one till then. I figure the cruise will take us about half an hour or so, probably longer given the number of cars. I am trying to set up a pretty cool photo op for all of our cars together on the UT campus.(waiting on a call back) If that goes through that should take us to about 5 or so. That gives everyone about 30-45 mins to check out the campus, cool off, go back to the hotel, whatever. I then figured we would meet up, probably a large parking lot on campus(maybe the stadium), and head over to Cabela's. We will probably want to get to Cabela's decently early if we all want to park together. I am getting more information on that meet so stay tuned. I am still planning on sticking around Saturday night(probably downtown after the meet ) and hanging out Sunday for those of you who are interested. (breakfast and such) It's getting closer and I am excited to see all of your cars!!! Sorry things are changing guys, but this is the best I could come up with on a months planning and with the kinks that keep popping up. It's still going to be a blast to see the faces when 41(hopefully 50) camaros pull in at once to the car meet. See you all soon!

I will be working on this more tonight....work is hectic right now, bear with me.
