Just read through some other threads...looks like I can patch through the 4 gauge cluster?

4 gauge cluster or one of those purple wires. Ask 2SSRS to be sure.

Hi if you VIN is higher then 9160000 your car dos not come with the factory connectors,

Now i run the wires to the 4 pack gauges, and use the yellow and black to power the LED's and that works, But that is the fast way, If you have a toner you can find the wire in that bundle, it is a purple wire.

Ofer, this is the wiring harness/t-tap I ordered from you a couple weeks ago. Yes, my VIN is a 92+, so I thought I had everything I needed? (I have the light pipe and LED's, so I'm ready to go...just need some power!)

All you do is plug that in line with your 4 pack gauges and feed the the rest of the wires up behind the main gauges and you set to plug the LED's in.

Ok, finished my ABL mod for the dash this afternoon. Since I have no connectors behind the speedo, I accessed power via the 4 gauge instruments using Ofer's T-Tap...this was way easy and I didn't need to pull the speedo to get all my LED's routed/installed. (the pictures are in order of how I went about installing)

First, remove the trim from your center console by gently prying it up from the back. In order to remove it you'll need to start the car and drop it into DRIVE, then pull it up and out.

Locate the plug mounted under the trim, disconnect it and reconnect with the T-Tap. I then routed the 3 LED leads directly through the dash, and snapped the trim back into place.

IMO, the real trick with this mod is the LED's themselves...they're fragile and I had to re-solder the leads on one of them at least 2x because of all the bending that goes along with making everything fit just right.

I'm still not completely satisfied with the finished lighting though. I've adjusted the light tube (white strip down, up, sideways) but haven't fully achieved a solid beam across the dash just yet. I'm thinking it may be how I actually connected the LEDs. I used the clear tubing, but I have a small gap between the light tube and the LED itself. Must the LED rest directly on the end of the light tube in order to achieve a solid beam?

Is your trim off the dash at the top?

Not sure what you mean, but I dremeled-off the clips to allow the light tube to rest evenly across the trim at roughly 5/8" on the backside. I also used the weather stripping to keep it straight all the way across. It snapped back together very clean and solid. I'm going to have to tinker with it some more to figure it out...but my fear now is the delicate lead wires on those LEDs...they break very easily.
