Those are called "mailers". If you read closely, you're approved for "up to" $30,000 w/a/c. It's just to get you in the door at their dealership.

Right now GM is financiing at 0% for 60 months if you qualify. Will that be true for the Camaro also?

Doest the dealership check your credit on the day you preordered??????-not to fill out loan papers thats done on the day you sign the dotted line. But in order to see if you are likely to get approved when the time comes!!!!!

Dude...you got answers in every one of these clone threads you've spammed upon us. Sorry if they aren't the ones you want, but don't lie and say you've had no answers.

the rates right now ,nobody can tell you .i expect no kind of deal on my camaro. expect 8 percent at the worst i hope .and what ever comes under is a lower payment for you .good credit is at least 720 so try to work from there. trust me i have had 14 new cars in 10 years ...there we be alot of people who are getting laid off.and wont be able to buy this car .thats how i became priority number 1 .this is all a game we are playing and guessing here .when the day comes when you get that call that the car is on its way then lets get busy .try your local credit union .they gave me best rate so far at 4.75 with excellent credit. you need 20percent down and direct deposit. good luck out there everybody .and just remember these are my opinions only.

I worked for a Chevrolet dealer in Florida for 18 years (before I started my own business) and was the new car Sales Manager
If you wanted to order a Impala a deposit is Fine no credit check
When the new Body Corvette came out and we had waiting lists,We ran a credit check on everyone cash or not
Anyone can say don't worry about it I am paying cash or I am getting my own loan
With hot product I wanted everyone who ordered a car to be able to buy it
The last thing I wanted as the New Car Manager was to wait 2 months or longer for an order to come in and the buyer be unable to take delivery
I know eveyone says well it will just go to the next Guy But if you are paying a premium you will not always settle for the wrong color or a missing option
How many of you will settle for a V6 LT when you want a 2SS?
Why would a dealer want to tie up an allocation on a "maybe buyer"
If we had a customer who did not want a credit check who says I am paying cash no problem write the check I'll order the car
We had that policy back when credit was easy to come by and would be even more important now when 800 beacons can not get a loan

Now that being said my dealer took a $500.00 deposit and ordered the car I told him I was paying cash and that was it and he is drop shipping the car to a dealer 1500 miles away
So it is definitely at the Dealers discretion
Richard
