Unlike The Bold, exiting exterior The genesis coupe has a boring plain interior with no visual excitement

IMVHO: the camaro's interior is 10x better than the genesis coupe's interior

When i saw a red genesis coupe at a Hyundai dealer (i was at a stop light) I was personally shocked on how good it looked

The only part of the car I think looks significantly different is the front facia. The rest, like I said, just seems like it was updated.
if you've seen the car in person, you would not mistake the two. And the hood is very different, it's atleast on par with the difference of a stock firebird hood and a WS6.

Ya know whats funny how everyone says "it's just a hyundai" or "crappy hyundai" etc etc in the 70's and early 80's they were saying that about another asian car company ...what was their name ....that's right Toyota!!! Loke at them now in the lead while the Big 3 cant even hold 25% market share in our own country!! We need to take this car and company seriously! Remember guys this is their first RWD coupe EVER and look how well it's doing in the comparos. If GM and we enthusiasts don't learn from History we will be doomed to repeat it , and this time there will be nothing left!

i agree. Korean technology is coming up. look at hyundai, Kia, LG, and Samsung. They are growing very fast and they offer quality and the best prices. I hope not but they might possibly do to the japanese what the japanese did to the americans.

I have spoken to several mechanics and most approve on Kia and Hyundai

Exactly it seems as though sometimes we fall asleep at the wheel or just chose to believe we are always gonna be better

Ageed. I had the opportunity to test drive the Genesis over the weekend. Based on what I've seen in the pix of the Camaro vs what I experienced in the Genesis coupe, it leaves a lot to be desired.
The Genesis is a lightweight, really. You're right, its like a slightly grown up version of the Tiburon.
Honestly, I think the Sonata has a better interior than the Genesis coupe. The interior of the Genesis sedan is also much better than the coupe.
I was expecting much more of the coupe and was not impressed at all. Again, based on the Camaro pix vs. sitting in the Genesis, I'll stick with the Camaro...

Allow me to correct this little bit...if you ever need to use it in a conversation, again.

The Big Three combined hold ~51% market share. GM alone holds ~22.5% as of last year. The rest is divided amongst Ford and Chrysler. afaik, as of last year, General Motors still sold more cars than Toyota in the USA.

But point well taken -- it's somewhat foolish to downplay the Genesis just because it's a Hyundai. If your gonna downplay it...downplay it for being overpriced and ugly.

That is all well and good for Hyundai...but I have worked on Korean cars after an accident...(that is, if they are not TOTALED) trust me, you want a GM car surrounding your azz rather than a Hyundai. Besides the fact that the Asians still can't design an attractive car IMO. Go Camaro!:flag2:

Even though I said the above....it don't mean I can't agree 100% with this.

Your exactly right. As long as the car doesn't have a T on the hood I am happy. Actually it is pretty neat car, but not nearly as good looking as the new Camaro. Then again I am biased I always have liked them and GM cars. I really haven't gotten anything but GM cars my entire life. Also why is the LLT Camaro so quick when it is 300lbs heavier than the Gen and also has 2 less hp? What is the axle ratio on both cars. I know SS models it is 3.45:1 but don't about the LS-LT cars because when I get a Camaro it will have the right number of cylinders. My wife didn't let me get a 2005 Bonneville GXP (too much power for me she said and drank more fuel, she won that battle) instead I got an 2005 SLE because it was more cost effective, still doesn't make me love my car any less. But trust me as much as I like it, I am not missing out on the eight cylinder again!
