For the average price of 32K for a Good Camaro you can pick up a good deal on a used Vette too. Depends what you want. You guys are comparing apples with oranges.

do you want a new factory fresh car 0 miles (well close mine had 126) or an old used car with 40k miles on it hmmm

Because after awhile the Corvettes gets old. They are low to the ground and you just dont want to use them everyday. Also even at my age the camaro is a heck of alot cheaper to insure. Its just a more complete every day driver and being able to take to a dealer for service helps. No way is the new Camaro an underdog to the Corvette! Here is the car I sold to pickup my SS...

I like the corvette. I LOVE the camaro. true, a lot of ppl see the camaro as you said, the "poor mans corvette". But luckily, there are plenty of ppl(like us) who are CAMARO enthusiasts. CAMARO FOR. EV. ER.

I dont view the Camaro as an underdog. It's a car in a different class then the corvette. I've owned a 4th Gen, a C5 and now the 5th Gen.

My next car will be a z06 ( or used zr1) and I plan on keeping the 5th Gen. Just because the two share the same engine doesn't mean one is an underdog.
