Mine does it a bit too. I have a 2011 I have the newest version i believe DB DB. I have an Iphone 4 . Im using the OEM cord also. But i still hear it crackle/pop here and there. It really depends on the music . Something really slow mostly like guitar solos and such is when you hear it the most .

I've found unplugging the USB from the car then plugging it back in fixes it for me

I get it too. It happens on my 2010 camaro and on my wife's 2011 SRX. Using iphone 3gs, iphone 4, and 80gb ipod classic...doesn't seem to matter. Also it only happens every once in a while not all the time.

There is another thread on this issue and you can get this addressed by your dealerships. If any of you need help in getting this addressed let me know and I'll help you out.

Mine's a 2011 ('vert) not sure of the PDIM I have, whatever it came with back in Feb/March I'll have to look.
Latest IOS on my iPod Touch.

I had this thread going a couple of days ago, but busier here! I'm just happy to get some attention to it. Jeff, being a 2011 is there any point in looking into some kind of update?
