I use Mobile 1 and AC Delco. Although my nephew said Mobile 1 is not the best synthetic something about ash content (not sure). I was thinking about Royal Purple but at $10.00 a quart I am not sure I can afford that. I wonder what is the best synthetic oil available. I guess thats something I can google and get some hard facts about oil.

Is it that bad? It's been a few years since I read it but it seems that Mobil 1 came out on top on all of the stuff that really matters.

well it seems that my pick of Mobile 1 and a Delco filter is best. I am hard on the car so I want to make sure its going to be good enough. I have a sport bike but I only run AMSOIL in it. I beat the eyes outta that thing and never had a bottom end failure or any type of oil leaks

Keep it simple, use M1 5w30. If you want a more robust oil you can use M1 Extended Performance 5w30 (also Dexos approved). They sell 5qt jugs at Walmart cheap.
Pennzoil Ultra and Royal Purple 5w30 are also good choices. |

I'll be using REDLINE OIL and a Purolator filter in mine. I've got my own reasons for not using Mobil 1 in this car.
