There is a very good reason why they went with that controller, and it's because guys between the ages of 18 to 35 know the pattern of the buttons very well due to the large amounts of time spent using it for gaming. Thus, the soldier will not have to learn a new pattern of button pushing.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I see the Xbox controller on a lot of military applications now days. It's easy to hack, and everyone knows it.

B,

I know this is going back a while, but in post nine, do you happen to know what tires those are on that concept car...???

Thanks. Still should be deceiving for many when it is going down the road. Looks pretty normal at cruise.

Thanks bud. It will be nice when the control arms are fixed and the throttle blades can actually be cracked open some.

You hit the nail on the head. The easier way to drive it is autonomous or setting waypoints on the tablet, but for real-time driving most military love the XBox. It is so second nature. Especially at 100 knots.

Custom cut tires by Goodyear. You could order some but the cost would be prohibitive. They are literally hand cut. Have the clip somewhere of them doing those.

Wow my friend you might just have the coolest toys on the forum!! I like how low SST is I was not expecting that I think it sounds great not like you can hear the turbos at idel or anything!! So what's next a little more tuning and you get it back?? Are they going to put it on the track to see what it does or are they leaving that in your hands???
Thanks Andrew!!

Getting on the road!

and some drive by's
That's absolutely amazing!

1) Because it's ALIVE!!! (and on video! hehehe)

2) Because you could pull up next to that and never think it has anything but a cam and loud exhaust or something....then BAM!
