FLOWMASTER 44 vs 10

I am looking to buy mufflers on wednesday. I am kind of split between the series 10 vs the super 44. It seems like the series 10 is wayyyy more intense with a raspier sound but much louder. The super 44 seems to be a more solid rumble, not as loud but still sounds great. I have never heard the series 10 in person. Is the sound it makes just overwhelming and annoying?

the 10 series is comparable to dynomax bullets in terms of volume IMO. its not annoying, i think it sounds good. its slightly quieter than straight pipes but has a deeper sound.

If you’re looking for an easy to install Axle-Back kit that’s going to an aggressive sound ,check out our video of the new Flowmaster Outlaw Axle-Back system (PN:817504).

It’s the most aggressive exhaust system we make for the new Camaro.

If you want the system to be a little more tame,

Check out the Pro-Series (Hushpower) and American Thunder (with specially designed 40-Series mufflers)

There’s a good write-up about this system on LSXTV:

http://www.lsxtv.com/forum/flowmaste...axle-3126.html

All of our 5th gen Camaro kits are 409S Stainless Steel system and they come with a Lifetime Warranty.
