Roto-fab finally on the way!! How much HP increase?

I finally bit the bullet and ordered a roto-fab cai.

My reason for ordering;

1. I got scared away from the possibility of hydro locking so I gave up on injen long tube. Edmonton has recieved a stupid amount of rain this year and areas have been looking almost knee deep in water at times...

2. I wanted a dry filter so this put vararam out as an option.

3. I was looking at the Injen Short intake but appearently the roto-fab gives a little better performance and costs only marginally more.

4. Apperantly, there is a ram air upgrade that bumps up hp/torque further and also further improves fuel economy. This... and there is also a windshield washer fluid relocator which also improves performance even further.

Also, I'm painting the intake orange like I did to the rest of my engine compartment

So with this intake but also upgrading to the ram air and relocating the washer bottle, does anyone know how much hp we can expect out of the roto-fabs? According to the company specs, the roto gets you 15hp more just from bolt on.

Anyhow, I'll keep everyone posted when I get the intake.

Today, I also ordered a Rotofab air intake. I came to the same conclusions as you. At first I wanted a Injen but once I saw how low the filter sit in the fender, I changed my mind. I believe we both made a good decision.

Not sure on Rotofab as only they have a dyno printout, 13 hp I think. But most short ram units are around 8-12 depending on other mods.Injen is around 15, ram air ducting is not measurable on the dyno but said to be 5-10 more at 100+mph give or take.
