I have been noticing in the last couple weeks water accumulating in my rear passenger side floor board, but it doesn't happen everyday....or every time it rains?? We have been getting showers daily here in florida,...and I would say out of the past two weeks.....3 days had water
.I am very confused, has anyone else had this problem?...the car is only 6 months old, and already have had three issues with it ![]() Please let me know if you did, and what the cause was.....thanks

Sunroof? If not, i would guess the window seal on the passenger window, between window and small back window. Water test with somebody inside and a hose?

Must be a leak in your heater core or hose attachment. Take it to the dealer ASAP for a quick fix.

Some weather strip moulding is leaking if it doesn't smell like coolant (i.e., bad heater core). I would go to the dealer and let them figure out where it's coming from. The last thing you want is mold to grow in your carpeting.

I don't have a sunroof, and it doesn't smell like coolant.....so probably weather stripping. its just odd that it doesn't do it all the time.
I have made an appointment to bring it in the beginning of the week.... Thanks for the input guys

water is a funny thing. Could be just the way the wind is driving the rain.

Check that the window is indexing all the way up when closed.
You may have to re-set it.

It's called Window Re-indexing. You can find the procedure in your owners manual or you can search here in the forums. Several posts have the steps. It's super easy. Press and hold the window button in the down position for 5 seconds after the window is all the way down. Next, roll up the window and hold the window button in the up position for 5 seconds after the window is all the way up. Presto. Re-indexed windows.
That said, I don't think this is your issue. My money is on some weather stripping issue. |

just a question,,do you park near any trees? sometimes if my old memory is correct, dirt, leaves, etc,,get into some drain hose for A.C. i think,,and clogs up giving you your water in pass. area.. its a simple fix, skinny wire or something like that, will clear it, the hose is visable i believe from under car,,,or have dealer at least look at this area..good luck ryd
