Good luck on your choice...I was in the exact same boat you were in 2 months ago. I honestly feel the deciding factor is on price. Borla has a slight edge on quality IMO and you pay more for it.

I did go with the Borla ATAK Cat-back and love it just like all the others. nice sound...no drone...next comes headers

I am gonna wait to see if the Outlaw gets a cat back. If they do I may switch my mind to the Outlaw rather than the Atak if it is gonna sound like I believe it will.

Flowmaster AT cat-back. Just got ours installed this past week. $585 shipped. I wanted a "deep, hits ya in the chest" throaty sound and the Flowmaster system does that with ease.

Everyone has their own sound they like. What one person may think sounds like heaven another may think it sounds like cats screwing. To me the Borla ATAK cat back sounds like someone is blowing raspberries on a fat ladys belly.

Couple questions: are you going to put LTs on it? Cam it? Do you like loud?

The ATAK is quite loud with LTs on it and the sound is only amplified by the addition of a cam. If you don't like loud, I'd go with the Stinger or the Touring Borla puts out.

Here's my 2SS (mods in sig). Short clip, but you get the point.

Borla cracks to much if you know what I mean...I think we all are looking for that 60's 70's muscle car sound of old and with these new cars its hard to find I think because of emission systems. But I put on the flowmaster super 10's and changed my pipes from the cats back to 3 inch.and enjoy the sound. I am installing some pacesetter headers next week and after its all done I'll post a video here so everyone can here. I dont know if I will ever get that same sound as my 69 camaro but I am getting close.

flowmaster

Just had Flowmaster American Thunder on my 2011 SS and am very happy with it . It sounds great , seems to run a bit better ,and it is quieter inside than the stock exhaust!

If you're going ATAK, can I suggest a muffler delete first?.... Just my experience. My best friend has the ATAK catback on his 2010 LS3, I had a delete on my LS3.... we both like the delete better, and a lot cheaper. You $$ your call.

I've been wondering the same thing. What exhaust to go with? I was leaning strongly toward the Borla Atak too. Corsa sounds good and the Flowmaster is good and about half the price. So what to choose?
